A unique website for scuba divers and ocean enthusiasts alike, to search for global dive spots, shops and excursions. Book a trip, make an itinerary, find out who has been there before and what they think about the location or experience. Dive shops and businesses can come on board to promote their trips, gear and expertise with their own page within the directory.
This is a unique interface that incorporates features of a local dive website into a powerful global platform.
PEN's mission is to create educational and work opportunities that match individuals to fellowships, partnerships and jobs where they can trade their skills and knowledge for housing, stipends travel and more.
The community marketplace allows individuals, organizations and institutions to offer and receive services for a non-monetary exchange. The interface's unique match system makes sure that everyone is able to get the most out of the experience by working with people and communities that are compatible.
Here the professional exchange is fun, easy and extremely rewarding for people of all backgrounds who want to learn from and get involved with other industries.

What Drives Your Dive? is an interface with a supplemental magazine that demonstrates scuba diving on an emotional level rather than in the traditional technology or skill based focus. By collecting unique memories online, through interviews, Facebook posts and comments as well as different video and music media the print documentation allows the community of followers to be highlighted in their own way.
This unique project is something that is very close to me and I plan to continue to publish more magazines from the online content. The community built online will hopefully interact more closely with one another, discuss stories and memories of past dives and help scuba diving move to a more discursive level.
Global Information Systems (GIS) is data visualization to solve and analyze specific spatial problems on global and local scales.
The maps represent data of total sediment, sediment quality, and fine fraction percentages of lead in the sediment which are geolocated to core locations of Sydney's Middle Harbour. Here, Lead (Pb) was the main element I looked at although for a complete understanding of the workings of sediment contamination, I also plotted data of Zinc, Chromium, Iron, Aluminum and others. The different scales allow for different views of features within the area that may affect the levels of Lead within the area.
After looking at the GIS representations of the space, we can see that the southwestern area of Middle Harbor has the highest fine fraction an total Lead concentration in the sediment. This can be caused by natural, physical or human processes.
Design, research and development was employed to create a self propelled hover craft. By constantly realizing product sketches, revising them along the way, trying and testing different materials, and production meathods the final result was a hover craft that was able to propel itself 12 ft! The only materials used in the final piece were a plastic bag, a straw, a balloon, and glue.
Here we see some process sketches, a sketch of the final work and some images of the final hover craft being built and in motion.
